As you r all aware of the tree plantation programme planned for 5th Block,I would like to inform you that on 12/09/2009 @ 10.00 A.M at 3rd mn (inside the coconut grove in sec-A) 40 people from Oracle,20from Shell and 6 people from the social organisation represented by Ms.Janet Y will undertake the programme.I hereby request you all to be present and help them &show them hw much u love ur layout
I would also request you to kindly come forward and provide a can/bottles of mineral water, water cups or any form of refreshments to the guests who r coming to beautify our area

ReplyDeleteI am Colonel S Yasin, a retired Army Officer and a resident of Block II of HBR Layout. I have been one of the founders (like Brigadier Narasimhan of our Layout)of the regd HBR Layout Residents' Welfare Association that was formed about 18 months ago. Our sole aim is to muster all the available resources in the Layout to project our demands on the basic amenities for the better living of the residents. To this end, we have been successful in harnessing the support of majority of the residents ( of all the Blocks ) and getting the official machinery moving towards positive results. These are discused in the Fortnightly Meetings of the Association, every Second and Fourth Sunday of every month.
The purpose of this mail is to appraise you of this and request you to join hands with us and offer your expertise, in whichever field you and other residents of your block are proficient, to strengthen the Association's hands. The stronger we are, the faster will be the developmental activities.
I sincerely hope you understand. And, make your neighbours too understand.

ReplyDeleteWe are residents of the most neglected part of the area i.e. 5th Block on the 1st Main Road, 8th Cross. We have not seen a single drop of water in our taps for more than a year leave alone the roads. What action is taken by the association for the above problems. In the last meeting held near Mr. Vishwanath's residence on the 7th Cross, we were informed that the roads will be asphalted within a week and it's almost 20 days since it happened and we see no trace of it yet.
